Batavia 0 – Hudson Valley 4
Ben Freeman got the start for Batavia and worked four and one-third innings. He allowed one earned run on one hit, three walks, and four strikeouts. Jose Alamarante worked one and one-third innings, allowing two unearned runs on three hits and one strikeout. Dyllon Nuernberg gave up two hits and struck out two in one and one-third innings. Lee Stoppelman allowed one unearned run on on hit and one strikeout in one inning.
Sean Bierman started for Hudson Valley and worked five good innings. He gave up five hits and three strikeouts. Ian Kendall tossed two innings giving up one hit, walking one, and striking out four. Dylan Floro worked two innings giving up two hits and striking out two.
Joel Caminero had the best night at the plate for Hudson Valley, going 2-for-4 with a double, home run, and three runs driven in. Thomas Coyle added two hits as well. Leonardo Reginatto, Ryan Dunn, and Mart Gantt all had one hit.
Breyvic Valera and Jonathan Keener both had two hits on the night for Batavia. Alex Mejia, David Bergin, Patrick Wisdom, Steven Ramos all had one hit.
Brooklyn 2 – Connecticut 5
Gabriel Ynoa got the start, and loss, for Brooklyn. He worked six innings allowing five runs (one earned) on six hits, one walk, and four strikeouts. Timothy Peterson worked two innings giving up two hits, walking two, and striking out one.
Edgar De La Rosa started on the mound for Connecticut and went five innings. He allowed two runs (one earned) on three hits, three walks, and three strikeouts. Angel Nesbitt worked two innings giving up two hits, one walk, and one strikeout. Eric Heckaman walked one and struck out one in one inning. William Clinard worked one inning giving up one hit and striking out two.
Jake Stewart had the best night at the plate for Connecticut, going 2-for-4 with a double and two runs driven in. Devon Travis had two hits and drove in two runs as well. Danry Vasquez, Juaner Aguasvivas, Patrick Smith, and Luis Cortez all had one hit.
Brandon Nimmo paced the Brooklyn batters, going 3-for-4 in the game. Stefan Sabol, Phillip Evans, and Juan Carlos Gamboa all had one hit.
Tri-City 7 – Williamsport 2
Ramon Oviedo struggled in his start for Williamsport. He worked four innings allowing five runs (three earned) on six hits, two walks, and one strikeout. Nicholas Hanson worked four innings allowing one earned run on five hits and four strikeouts. Chris Nichols allowed one earned run on three hits in one inning.
Vincent Velasquez started on the mound for Tri-City. He went six innings allowing two runs (one earned) on three hits, one walk, and eight strikeouts. Brad Propst was perfect in two innings, striking out three. Juan Minaya gave up one hit in one inning of work.
Christoper Serritella, Larry Greene, Cameron Perkins, and Mitch Walding were the only Williamsport batters to get a hit.
Dan Gulbransen paced the Tri-City batters, going 1-for-3 with two runs driven in. Tyler Heineman had three hits. Austin Elkins, Ryan Dineen, and Emilio King all had two hits one the night.
Staten Island 2 – State College 11
Tim Flight was hit around in his start for Staten Island, lasting only one and one-third innings. He allowed five earned runs on five hits, three walks, and two strikeouts. Derek Varnadore was perfect in his three and one-third innings of work, striking out two. Alex Smith worked one inning allowing four runs (three earned) on four hits. Evan DeLuca allowed one earned run on one hit, two walks, and one strikeout in one inning. Charles Basford allowed one earned run on three hits and two strikeouts.
Luis Heredia got the start, and win, for State College. He tossed five innings allowing one earned run on three hits and three walks. Dalton Friend worked two innings allowing one earned run on one hit and one strikeout. Lance Breedlove gave up one hit and struck out one in one inning. Justin Ennis walked one in one inning of work.
Jacob Stallings led the State College batters, going 4-for-5 with two doubles and two runs driven in. Ryan Hornback, Yhonathan Barrios, and Barrett Barnes all had one hit and drove in one run.
Matt Snyder had the best night at the plate for Staten Island, going 1-for-4 with a home run and one run driven in. Danny Oh, Isaias Tejeda, Daniel Lopez, and Caludio Custodio all had one hit.
Vermont 5 – Jamestown 6
J.C. Menna worked five innings in his start for Vermont. He went five innings allowing one earned run on two hits, three walks, and three strikeouts. Stuart Pudenz worked one and two-thirds innings allowing four earned runs on six hits, one walk, and two strikeouts. Austin House allowed one unearned run on one hit and two strikeouts in one and one-third inning.
Matt Millroy gave up three hits, four walks, and six strikeouts in his five inning start for Jamestown. Jake Esch struggled in his three and two-thirds innings of work. He allowed five earned runs on five hits, three walks, and four strikeouts. Nick Wittgren gave up one hit and walked one in one-third of an inning.
Anthony Gomez had the best night at the plate for Jamestown, going 2-for-4 and driving in two runs. Pedro Mendoza added two hits and drove in a run as well. Cameron Flynn, Matt Juengel, Jesus Solorzano, Viosergy Rosa, and Juancito Martinez all had one hit each.
Wilfredo Soloan paced the Vermont batters at the dish, going 2-for-5 with two runs driven in. Christoper Bostick added two hits of his own. Rhett Stafford his his first home run of the year, finishing 1-for-4 on the night. Miguel Marte, Jacob Tanis, Austin Booker, and Sam Roberts all had one hit on the night.
Auburn 10 – Aberdeen 0
Nicholas Lee got the start for Auburn and worked six very good innings. He gave up one hit, walked two, and struck out three. Jake McGeary worked one perfect inning, striking out two. Cody Davis closed out the last two innings, striking out four.
Sebastian Vader struggled in his start for Aberdeen. He worked five innings allowing five runs (four earned) on nine hits, one walk, and three strikeouts. Jose Nivar did not fare much better, lasting two and one-third innings. He allowed five earned runs on five hits, one walk, and three strikeouts. Alex Schmarzo worked one and two-thirds of an inning, giving up one hit and striking out four.
Jerome Pena got the only hit for Aberdeen, going 1-for-4.
Jordan Poole was the only Auburn batter to not record a hit on the night. Estarlin Martinez led the Auburn batters at the plate, going 3-for-5 with two runs driven in. Josh Johnson added two hits and drove in two runs of his own. Tony Renda and Shawn Pleffner both added two hits and drove in a run. Mike McQuillan added three hits and drove in a run. Wander Ramos hit his third home run of the year for his only hit of the night, he also drove in two runs.
Mahoning Valley 7 – Lowell 4
Josh Martin got the start, and win, for Mahoning Valley. He worked five innings allowing two earned runs on three hits, one walk, and four strikeouts. Luis Morel worked three and two-thirds innings, allowing two earned runs on two hits, six walks, and five strikeouts. Louis Head struck out one in his one-third of an inning.
Mike Augilero lasted only one and two-thirds innings in his start for Lowell. He allowed four earned runs on five hits and three strikeouts. Francisco Taveras worked four and one-third innings, giving up four hits, one walk, and four strikeouts. Gregory Larson worked two innings allowing three earned runs on three hits, two walks, and two strikeouts. Kyle Kraus was perfect in his one inning of work, striking out one.
Oscar Perez had the best night at the plate for Lowell, going 1-for-4 with two runs driven in. Mike Miller, Deven Marrero, Dreily Guerrero, and Kendrick Perkins all had one hit each.
Charlie Valerio led the Mahoning Valley batters at the plate, going 2-for-5 with two doubles and three runs driven in. Robel Garcia added two hits and drove in one run. Joe Sever and Tyler Naquin both had three hits and drove in one run.
