I was lucky enough to sit down with Tampa Bay Rays 2nd rounder from the 2011 draft, Lenny Linsky. Lenny had lots to say about his final season at the University of Hawaii, his excitement regarding the beginning of his pro career, and he also introduced himself and his arm as well. Audio Interview With A's Prospect & Vermont Lake Monsters OF Aaron Shipman

I posted this over at the other site I write for, Beyond the Box Score. I'm just putting the audio player link here as well because Aaron Shipman IS possibly going to be in the NYPL this year.

Aaron Shipman is one of the most decent people you will ever talk to. It's a pleasure to have him as a buddy and it's great to know that he's feeling great at the plate this Spring. There's about a 50/50 chance he'll be playing for the Vermont Lake Monsters this year after spending a couple of months in extended Spring Training getting more work in. Make sure you keep an eye on him as he continues to impress and gradually make his way to the Majors.
